Student Visit & Assessment
Prospective students spend a full day on campus. Grades K–8 participate in age-appropriate reading, writing, and math activities. Preschool uses observational methods.
Acceptance & Enrollment
Accepted families receive an enrollment packet. Secure your child's place with the $1,000 enrollment deposit and submit final required records.

How do I start the process?
We accept applications on a rolling basis throughout the year. We recommend applying early, as class sizes are limited to maintain our 12:1 ratio. The best first step is a conversation with our Director of Admissions — reach out at [email protected], and we'll schedule a campus tour together at a time that works for your family.
What is the Student Readiness Assessment?
A friendly, age-appropriate visit where we get to know your child. For preschool, we use observational methods. For K–8, students participate in grade-level activities during a full day on campus.
Is financial aid available?
Valley Prep offers a limited number of need-based financial assistance opportunities. Please contact the admissions office directly. Multi-child discounts are also available.
What does a typical school day look like?
School hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Before-school care from 7:00 a.m. and aftercare until 6:00 p.m.
What is the tuition range?
2026–2027 annual tuition ranges from $13,440 for Preschool–Kindergarten to $16,000 for Grades 7–8. A 10-month installment plan, multi-child discounts, and a $1,000 enrollment deposit apply. Contact our admissions office for full details.
Is before and after school care available?
Yes. Before-school care begins at 7:00 a.m. and aftercare runs until 6:00 p.m., available to all enrolled students.
Is there a uniform policy?
Yes, Valley Prep students follow a dress code. Uniform items are available through Lands' End. Contact the school office for the current uniform guide.
Can we apply mid-year?
Yes. We welcome mid-year applications when space is available. Please contact our admissions team to confirm current availability. The standard admissions process applies.
Is transportation available?
Valley Prep does not provide community-based transportation. However, we are happy to facilitate introductions for carpool arrangements — our families come from many communities throughout the Inland Empire and we love connecting them.
Is Valley Prep accredited?
Yes — Valley Prep holds three accreditations simultaneously: IB World School, CAIS (California Association of Independent Schools, accredited since 1982), and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). Valley Prep is also a member of NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools). Very few Inland Empire schools hold all four credentials.
Is Valley Prep a religious school?
No. Valley Prep is independent, secular, coeducational, and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Every faith, every family, fully welcome.
