Valley Prep's Innovation Camp: Design, Make, Play

Valley Prep's first-ever innovation camp will give your child a summer to remember. Our child-centered approach gives each camper a chance to discover a world of innovation through age-appropriate, inquiry-based, hands-on projects that foster creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and collaboration. Join us for a summer of endless possibilities.

Our Mission

Foster an environment where campers are given the opportunity to devise a plan, think creatively, embrace challenges, build on other’s ideas, and collaborate on child-centered innovative and creative projects and activities. Our campers will develop the skills to become creative producers in our world while designing, making, and playing.

Age Groups

Campers are grouped by their incoming grade-level.

  • Little Explorers: Preschool, Prekindergarten, and Kindergarten (only the all-day option is available)
  • Inventors: 1st–3rd Grades (morning-only or all-day)
  • Engineers: 4th–6th Grades (morning-only or all-day)

In the morning, these groups stay together for inquiry-based, hands-on projects with our team-teachers and specialists.. Please review our program flyer. In the afternoon, "Inventors" and "Engineers" choose from activities provided by Sportball or Engineering for Kids. (Note: "Little Explorers" remain with their teacher for the entire day).

Sportball is a fun-focused sports instruction program for kids that uses sport to teach physical literacy and social development. Their expert coaches offer developmentally appropriate, non-competitive sports training for all ages.

Engineering for Kids is a program structured to provide your child with the opportunity to design, build, test, and refine their own creations in a safe and fun environment. Engineering for Kids strives to teach students how fun STEM can be. Please review the program offerings.
